FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship is one of the four cornerstones of the Coast Guard Auxiliary (along with Member Services, Recreational Boating  Safety and Operations & Marine Safety.)

"Fellowship remains an essential ingredient in making any organization successful. The Coast Guard recognizes the importance of this aspect of volunteer participation and encourages a close relationship between Auxiliarists and other Coast Guard personnel.  Fellowship makes the team work and binds the entire organization together"

(Chapter 2, A.5. of the Auxiliary Manual COMDTINST M16790.1F)
