     Boaters:  If your marine radio is equipped with Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), be sure to obtain, register and enter your assigned 9-digit Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) into the radio.  If the MMSI is not programmed correctly, some features may not work properly, and a rescue could be delayed.  Additional information can be found at the U.S. Coast Guard's Navigation Center and Rescue21 websites.

 

Events

1. May 02 ABS Course begins at Bradenton Yacht Club – 0800 hrs.

2. May 04 Flotilla will receive a NSBW Proclamation by City of Palmetto.

3. May 05 Flotilla to receive a NSBW Proclamation from the Manatee County.

4. May 09 Fellowship hosted by the Eschedors @ Seafood Shack. 6 pm. RSVP by 5/6.

5. May 16 National Safe Boating Week begins. Goes through to May 22nd.

6. May 23 TCT 8 hour course will be given at Station Cortez starting at 0830.
